I like that there are warning signs on the check in desk to not use a debit card as they will take out the whole value of the trip on your card as a security deposit and they wont be held responsible for you going bankrupt in doing so - alarm bells !!! no change at the end of it from $2000 for a 2 night stay for a family of 4, and still waiting on that security deposit coming back (another $2000) currently sitting on my card - holy jez !! the quality is mediocre at best, the service is poor - explainable as they want every guest to feel magical (why you wait in line for an hour for a magic wand even though the line is only 3 customers deep. but my kids were older and had foggy fond memories of the place (they loved magicquest). Second time at Great Wolf Lodge Grapevine - i must have a bad memory as i kinda recall that i wouldn't return. We will not be back and will spread this word if they don’t make it right for our family. I feel like when you are paying 350 a night the service should be better. Ordered a “signature burger” and out came a patty and a bun At no time during our visit did any employee try to “make it right”. Went to bear paw for a quick breakfast and was told it would be 30 minutes for an omelette 7. Pizza place computers were down and they took forever to come up and take our order 6. Pool cafe-they were out of the first four things I ordered. Arcade-all but one card dispenser was not working. The manager on duty continued to tell us it would be at the next show. Twice we went to shows and there was no snow in the lobby. When I finally did get a hold of someone after a week of trying they were not able to accommodate our request for a certain time. I had a very difficult time getting a hold of someone to make a reservation for Scoops. We have always had a wonderful experience until this year. We go to Great Wolf annually during this time of year.
